Tony Ngo, 20, a student at Carleton College, moved back home with his parents in their apartment in the Chinatown-International District after his school shut down because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Seattle, Wash. on May 7, 2020. His parents immigrated from Vietnam in the 1990’s. His mother, Hong Ngo, works in a nail salon and his father, Thong Ngo, is a custodian at a local college. Tony says that when growing up his parents were often at work. Now because of the quarantine they have more time to spend together. (photos by Karen Ducey)
