Janni Sun, school services administrator for ICHS says, “When schools closed pretty abruptly, we were really concerned about how to reach out to our kids because our students are from all over the district, they're not near our school…. It can be really hard when you come to a new place. If you've got a language barrier, you have to deal with structural racism all day, every day, as a part of your life. On the media, people are saying that they don't want you here. It can be really intimidating to go into a clinic or a public location and ask for something.”
